Have a Cannabis Facility, License or Building?
HYE LYF reviews cannabis facilities, cultivation licenses and buildings with the owners and license holders who control them. We work on cultivation operations, facility activation and building takeovers. Tell us what you have, who controls the facility or license, what infrastructure exists and what is missing.
Turnaround
A grow that is failing
Our lead work is saving failing grows. We look for the problems and the levers that could make the grow produce more. That means reviewing the rooms, the cultivation workflow and the operating issues. Common places grows lose output include:
- Climate that drifts at night.
- Dehumidification that cannot handle the wettest late stage.
- Uneven light or irrigation not tuned to the room.
- No daily data.
Activation
An idle or unfinished facility
We review underused, inactive and partially built cultivation facilities to see what is missing from the operating plan. Most stalled facilities are missing power, finished rooms, a local permit in good standing or an operator. Inactive is not finished. Our activation work covers existing infrastructure, room readiness, equipment gaps and launch planning. For a facility that has stopped operating, we also review restart strategy.
For-hire cultivation
A license without an operating plan
We work with license holders who need cultivation planning and a team. Our team works inside your licensed facility, under your license, as your cultivation team. HYE LYF does not hold a cannabis license. The work can include daily workflows, team coordination and SOP development support. As general regulatory information, anyone who manages, directs or controls a licensed cannabis operation counts as an owner and must be disclosed to the DCC (DCC regulation 15003).
Cultivation buildings
A building to sell, lease or hand over
Depending on what you need and what we agree, HYE LYF can take over the grow, the building, the operations, or the licensed business itself. We also buy and lease cultivation buildings with our own money. Buildings may be idle, half-built or losing money. We look at power, zoning, the local permit and what it takes to get to a first harvest. Selling the property or leasing it to a state-licensed tenant are options for a struggling facility. See Cultivation Buildings.
Start with what exists
How we review it
The first conversation starts with a facility overview and the license and compliance context. Then we review infrastructure and operations and discuss next steps. We ask:
- What is the facility?
- Who controls the facility or license?
- What infrastructure exists?
- What is missing?
- What is the goal?
Questions owners ask
Can my inactive cannabis license be restarted?
That depends on the license status and compliance context, not just whether the facility is ready. We review that context alongside infrastructure and facility restart planning. As general legal information, commercial cannabis activity requires a state license (Business and Professions Code 26037.5).
What is missing when a cultivation facility stalls?
Most stalled facilities are missing power, finished rooms, a local permit in good standing or an operator. We review existing infrastructure, room readiness and equipment gaps, then discuss the operating plan. A facility being inactive does not mean it is finished or ready to run.
Can an outside team run my licensed cannabis grow?
Yes. Our team works inside your licensed facility, under your license, as your cultivation team. HYE LYF does not hold a cannabis license. As general regulatory information, anyone managing, directing or controlling a licensed cannabis operation counts as an owner and must be disclosed to the DCC (DCC regulation 15003).
What should I tell HYE LYF first?
Start with what the facility is, who controls it or the license, what infrastructure exists, what is missing and your goal. Our short facility form also asks for your name, phone, email, city, facility type, lights or square feet, and what is wrong.
Tell us what you have
Send the short “Tell us about your facility” form on the Contact page. Include your facility type, city, lights or square feet, and what is wrong. Or call (818) 913-4108. The first walkthrough is free.
